The rollercoaster of a marriage between Offset and Cardi B has taken another dramatic turn. Despite recently partying together for Offset’s birthday, the former Migos rapper seems to be throwing shade at his estranged wife, criticizing her parenting and accusing her of lying.
On Monday evening, Offset shared a cryptic Instagram Story, writing, “Lies told to make me look bad,” over an image from his birthday bash. He added, “I couldn’t play how you do. Pray for them kids.”
The “FAN” rapper’s post came a few days after celebrating his birthday in Miami on Dec. 14, where Cardi also attended.

Right before the party, alleged “hacked” texts leaked between the couple where Offset pleaded with Cardi to be intimate with him again, to which she shut him down. However, the two seemed to be on good terms as they had a friendly money throwing competition in the club that same night.
In a Spaces conversation on X, Cardi said about the messages: “Sh*t is old. It’s not on purpose. I will never get back with this ni**a. I’m not even gonna lie, we’ve been peaceful for a week. So, we like the energy… I don’t bother you, you don’t bother me. You heard I’m with a ni**a, don’t bother me. I hear you with a bi**h, I don’t bother you. So, we been on good terms.”
Cardi B later admitted to leaking texts between them, seemingly leading Set to make his remarks about her “lying” and “the kids.”
Offset’s dig could refer to Cardi recently dealing with Child Protective Services (CPS).
The rapper revealed that an anonymous report was filed against her in October, leading to visits from the state agency to interview her children. The “Bodak Yellow” star insists she’s done nothing wrong but has described the repeated inquiries as harassment.
Although the two are in the midst of a divorce and recently welcomed a newborn baby girl, they have still been spotted out multiple times in the same spaces. Just in October, the estranged couple attended The Stafford Room in New York City—even though they arrived separately and didn’t interact.
