Nigerian music stars Olamide, D’banj, Yemi Alade, and Timi Dakolo are set to perform today at the opening ceremony of the 2024 African Military Games (AMGA) in Abuja.
The Nigerian Army confirmed the news on X (formerly Twitter), inviting fans to witness the electrifying performances.

The second edition of the African Military Games features athletes from 25 countries competing in 19 sports disciplines.
The Moshood Abiola Stadium will host the majority of the events, while obstacle crossing and shooting will be held at separate venues.
Organized by the Organization of Military Sports in Africa (OSMA) and the International Military Sports Council (CISM), the games aim to foster unity among African military personnel through sports.
This isn’t the first time these artists have graced major stages. D’banj wowed fans at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) closing ceremony in South Africa, where Nigeria’s Super Eagles triumphed.
Similarly, Yemi Alade performed at the opening ceremony of the last AFCON in Ivory Coast, showcasing her signature energy and talent.
