Bow Wow recently cleared the air on his current relationship with Omarion, and the 40-year-old singer quickly replied. Despite things seeming tense between the two, O has resolved to lead with love no matter what happens between the two.
“Over the years, I’ve shared space, history, and energy with many in this industry—Bow Wow being one of them. Inviting him into the Millennium Tour Franchise was an extension of brotherhood and respect,” he exclusively told The Shade Room. “It came from a place of love, legacy, and shared memories. To my knowledge, there is no ‘beef,’ no unresolved issues (unless there is one? ), no drama. I’m in a season where I honor what’s real, what’s reciprocal, and what uplifts the spirit.”
The “Touch” artist continued, saying that he will be at peace if they continue not to speak. “We may cross paths and not exchange words—and that’s okay,” he added. “I wish him well on his journey. I move forward with love, clarity, and truth. Thank you to everyone who came out to the Millennium Tour and made it a great success. Excitement and more great news to come! See you soon!”
Bow Wow first sparked curiosity about an issue between the two when he promoted The Millenium Tour back in February. A fan said that he and Omarion needed to talk, and the Ohio artist responded, “No we don’t.” He later tweeted, “What Tour?” about the Millenium Tour he would headline alongside O and Trey Songz.
This past week, he joined Cam Newton on Funky Friday and addressed where he and his “Let Me Hold You” collaborator currently stand. “It’s complicated. I don’t want to talk (to him),” he said. “It’s nothing to talk about, not even in a bad way […] It’s just when you lend your hand out and you try to be the bigger person—and try to rap—but you get no response you go, ‘OK we’ll leave it right here.’ You do your thing, I do my thing, it ain’t no beef.”
He revealed that they have seen each other and everything has been copacetic, but it doesn’t seem like there will be any grand reunion anytime soon. “We’ve been through this thing for so long,” he said. “He’s 40 and I’m 38. We don’t have to do that now. We got kids, we got our own lives. I wish you nothing but the best. The best revenge is time, you don’t even gotta do much.”
