Panama says canal ‘forever’ theirs, despite Trump’s threat of retaking it | Politics

Panama’s President Jose Raul Mulino has vowed the canal will forever stay under Panama’s control, in a speech marking 25 years since the US handed it over. Donald Trump has threatened to reassert US control, accusing Panama of charging excessive rates to use the crucial waterway.
