Nigerian singer Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has weighed in on the ongoing controversy involving music star Burna Boy and socialite Sophia Egbueje.

The scandal erupted after Egbueje claimed Burna Boy had promised to gift her a Lamborghini following their intimate encounter.

The revelation has sparked widespread reactions across social media, with many Nigerians sharing their opinions on the matter.

In a recent video, Portable criticized Sophia’s demand for a luxury car, suggesting that what she truly needed was clothing instead.

He humorously offered to buy her fabric so she could have an outfit tailored rather than expecting an expensive gift.

The Zazu crooner also questioned whether she knows the actual cost of a Lamborghini, jokingly stating that if he bought one for her, she would likely flee with it.

Portable further alleged that Sophia’s father never bought her mother a car, implying that this might have influenced her approach to acquiring one for herself.

The controversy has drawn mixed reactions from notable figures. Speed Darlington used the opportunity to criticize Burna Boy, alleging that the singer had not even taken care of his close associates, making it unlikely that he would spend billions on a car for a woman.

Meanwhile, social media personality Saida BOJ took a different stance, defending Sophia Egbueje and calling out women who ridiculed her, suggesting that some of them were no different from her.

Portable’s remarks have stirred conversations in the online space, with fans expressing divided opinions. While some found his comments amusing, others criticized him for weighing in on the controversy.
