Ray J doesn’t believe that Diddy‘s “Freak Off” stories are true, and he questions the integrity of those allegations.
During an interview with Chris Cuomo, the singer was asked about his view regarding all of the allegations hovering above Sean Combs’ head. Ray J was blunt in his questioning, wondering whether or not the claims brought forth by potential victims were true. He then honed in on the “Freak Offs,” wondering where the concept for that came from, and claiming that he had never seen one of these in person. The “One Wish” artist even went so far as to claim that no “A-List celebrity” has even heard of a “Freak Off.”
“Is any of it real? Or how much of it is real? I think that’s where we are now because they just keep piling on,” he said. “Now everybody is starting to feel weird about it..like it’s one-sided against one man. And people aren’t liking it.”
“I think that there might have been times where people have partied with a certina team of people and there may have been a ‘Freak Off.’ So, the ‘Freak Offs’ in the beginning sounded interesting and entertaining, but in this space now, when you look back, where were the ‘Freak Offs?’ Everybody that’s super legitimate that’s an A-List celebrity from my knowledge, and I just know that I have never seen a ‘Freak-Off.’ What does that really mean? Is that really real? Is this 50/50? Are we creating a new narrative for something that’s not there? Was there really dope in the baby oil? What are we doing?”
Elsewhere in the conversation, Ray J addressed recently being targeted in a shooting. The entertainer vaguely spoke about the situation “all being worked out” on the “frontlines.” Ray insisted that it was handled peacefully and ended the topic there.
Ray J also spoke about his recent squabble with Diddy’s sons. The California-based entrepreneur admitted that it all has “been a lot,” and that they “worked out their differences.”
The fight between Ray J and Diddy’s boys was prompted by the music veteran’s recent critical assessment of the disgraced mogul. Earlier this month, Ray J debuted his new show, The Reality Show News, where he addressed his relationship with Sean Combs. He was disappointed in Combs and swore to expose others like him.
“Diddy was my friend,” Ray J said of his personal relationship with the dishonored businessman. “What do you do when you never seen all this sh*t that people are talking about? Do you believe it? Everybody’s innocent until proven guilty?… Do you forgive somebody for taking somebody’s a**? There’s a lot of people out here taking from people. People are getting robbed of not only their money and their spirituality, they’re getting robbed of their womanhood and manhood. A**es are being taken in ways that nobody can explain.”
