Sauce Walka, Sayso P Shooting Suspect Identified By Memphis Police

Arrest warrants are out for the man Memphis police believe took the life of rising rapper Sayso P and wounded rap star Sauce Walka.

Cops have identified Jayden Dandrige as their suspect in the shooting and issued a warrant for his arrest.

For his role in the crime, the 21-year-old is being charged with one count of first degree murder, two counts of employment of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and auto theft.

Police are offering a $6,000 reward for information leading to Dandrige’s arrest.

Investigators believe that there multiple co-conspirators involved in the crime, but have not yet to identified any other suspects.

Authorities discovered Dandrige’s identity after combing through hours of security surveillance footage from the areas surrounding the crime scene.

The murder of Sayso P is believed to be premeditated and appears to be an intended hit on the rapper. “This appears to be a targeted shooting incident,” a Memphis police rep explained.

“The victims were outside by a vehicle. The suspect vehicle pulled up. Multiple people got out of that vehicle, [and] fired shots without engaging in any conversation. They got back into the white vehicle and fled.”

In the wake of the shooting, Sauce Walka paid tribute to the late artist on social media. “U left earth as a RICH YOUNG BOSS U left this earth happy a successful ima make sure the world knows,” the Houston rapper wrote, vowing to carry on Sayso P’s legacy.
