Scumie Proudly Highlights Her Remarkable Musical Achievements Of 2024. In a world where artists often wait years to build a resume, Scumie is proving that age and experience are no barriers to greatness. At just under 20 years old, this young creative is carving a path that’s turning heads in the music industry, achieving milestones that some seasoned professionals only dream of.

Scumie’s work ethic and talent have attracted an impressive lineup of collaborators. The rising rapper teamed up with Usimamane, delivering a track that showcases their unique sound. The famed trap star’s creative genius also led to co-writing and recording a song with none other than South African music sensation Sho Madjozi, a figure renowned for her boundary-pushing work in blending modern beats with traditional influences.

But Scumie’s journey doesn’t stop there. A track with Nadia Nakai, one of the most prominent voices in SA hip-hop, is already slated for release this January. And if that weren’t enough, Scumie locked in a collaboration with Saudi, the chart-topping artist behind hits like There She Go, set to drop in 2025.

What’s even more remarkable is that Scumie has achieved all this without an album out—yet. Bagging 50 bands (that’s R50,000) in earnings before even releasing a full-length project is a testament to her undeniable impact. As if that weren’t impressive enough, she has also made waves by working with a Grammy-nominated songwriter, a rare feat for an artist so early in her career.

It’s not just Scumie’s music that’s making moves. The artist recently hit a major personal milestone, moving out of her family home before the age of 20—a testament to her independence and determination to thrive in an industry that demands both resilience and vision.

With such a powerful start, the question on everyone’s mind is: what’s next for Scumie? Fans are eagerly awaiting January’s release with Nadia Nakai, and the long-term anticipation for the 2025 track with Saudi only adds to the buzz. Meanwhile, the promise of more collaborations, hits, and perhaps even a debut album keeps Scumie’s audience on the edge of their seats.
