A former employee of Sean “Diddy” Combs is speaking out about his experience working for the disgraced Hip-Hop mogul. Phil Pines, who claims to have worked as a Senior Executive Assistant for Combs from 2019 to 2021, spoke to journalist Mara S. Campo for Investigation Discovery’s (ID) The Fall of Diddy docuseries. In the interview, recorded last week (Jan. 22), Pines details having to “emergency clean” for the Harlem native after parties.
“That means that he destroyed the hotel room,” explained Pines in a preview of the full interview. “The longer he’s there, the more intense the clean-up is going to be.” An audio then plays of Combs asking Pines to “come straighten up,” explaining “it’s not looking luxurious.”
“That was for me, probably one of the hardest things to do. When you get there, you see the wreckage, you see the stains, you see the bodily fluids, you see the used condoms, you see the baby oil half-used, the Astroglide oozing down the sides of the bottle and you have to pick it up…Broken glass, urine, blood. It wasn’t uncommon for it to be stains on furniture, stains on sheets, that we need to remove…One can only imagine what was actually happening. It’s disgusting.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, in the full interview, Pines recalled allegedly seeing Combs physically abuse women, and being pressured into sexual activity to prove his loyalty to Combs.
“I remember hearing the words: ‘Prove your loyalty to me.’ He grabbed me by the shoulders, kind of gave me a quick massage, like a coach would give a player that’s about to enter the game, and handed me a condom, pushed me to a girl that was on the couch, a guest,” Pines emotionally detailed, clarifying that the woman consented to the activity.
“He got me. It was a circus. He did whatever he wanted, and we were just at his disposal … He’s a predator. I mean that in a sexually charged way, in a manipulation way. He has an innate ability to make you feel comfortable and to make you do things for him that you would never do.”

A statement from Combs’ team on the docuseries to THR reads as follows:
“These documentaries are rushing to cash in on the media circus surrounding Mr. Combs. The producers failed to provide sufficient time or details for his representatives to address unsubstantiated claims, many from unidentified participants whose allegations lack context. By withholding this information, they made it impossible for Mr. Combs to present facts to counter these fabricated accusations. This production is clearly intended to present a one-sided and prejudicial narrative. As we’ve said before, Mr. Combs cannot respond to every publicity stunt or facially ridiculous claim. He has full confidence in the facts and the judicial process, where the truth will prevail: the accusations against him are pure fiction.”

Pines filed a lawsuit against Combs in December 2024. PEOPLE Magazine reported Pines claims he was in charge of the “MVP” bag, a Gucci bag allegedly filled with drugs and sex toys when traveling with Combs. He also claims that the Bad Boys Records founder knowingly had COVID-19 during his 51st birthday party and did not make guests aware, leading to an attendee contracting the disease.
“No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor. We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court,” detailed a statement about the legal action, per PEOPLE.

Currently, the Grammy-certified musician remains behind bars as he faces charges of racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution. Beyond the criminal trial, which is slated to begin in May, the 55-year-old faces several lawsuits accusing him of rape, physical abuse and more.
According to Rolling Stone, in the days prior to his arrest in September 2024, Combs allegedly called and texted a potential government witness 58 times. Additionally, multiple bags of a pink powder were found in his plush hotel suit, and he tested positive for ecstasy among other drugs.
THE FALL OF DIDDY premiered on Monday (Jan. 27), and will be available to stream on Max and discovery+. Watch a sneak peek above.
