Comedian Seyi Law weighed in on the discussion, emphasizing Ali Baba’s significant influence on the Nigerian comedy industry.

According to Seyi Law, Ali Baba’s contributions to the industry are unequalled, having elevated stand-up comedy to national and international prominence.

He cited Ali Baba’s impressive achievement of performing six hours of original comedy without repetition.

He said:

On this one, you are wrong. Alibaba brought national and international appeal to standup comedy beyond regional sentiments. Alibaba would always give reference to the hard work of those before him, but the structure and the business aspects of comedy were taught by Alibaba. Many big names today rode on Alibaba’s materials. Alibaba once did 6 hours of comedy of original materials without repetition. We call him king for a reason.”

In another news, Seyi Law assumes role as Aiyedatiwa’s aide on entertainment, tourism

The comedian on Tuesday shared a video compilation on Instagram showcasing his first day at work.

He captioned the post:

“Today, I resumed work as the SSA on Entertainment and Tourism to the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

“I paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Olayide Adelami mni, and the SSG, Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi.”

He also said he was welcomed warmly at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism where staff greeted him with dancing and singing
