Swizz Beatz gave his queen, Alicia Keys, a heavy crown to wear—dubbing her the “female Dr. Dre.”

The super-producer spoke highly of his wife after dropping a clip of the multifaceted musician cooking up a beat for Meek Mill. On Wednesday night (Nov. 20), Swizz blessed fans with a behind-the-scenes clip of the “Fallin” star on the piano, while the Philly native laid bars in the booth.

“Lost files @meekmill produced by @aliciakeys! Can’t lie, AK produce like any heavy producer [blowing smoke emojis] Female @drdre to be exact!” Swizz hyped her up in his caption. “Let’s get back to the pain and passion. Should this song drop? The finished version is crazy.”

Adding Hip-Hop producer to her tool box wouldn’t be too farfetched, as she naturally has a knack for instrumental music. It would only be an addition to her vast endeavors that doesn’t stop at the studio.

Last year, the “No One” hitmaker filed a trademark for her own tea brand, Alicia Teas, inspired by a thoughtful gift from Swizz himself. Back in 2020, Swizz surprised Alicia with custom tea bags for her birthday and predicted that one day they’d be brewing at Starbucks—which could still happen.

“Happy birthday, baby! We got endless teas, and soon everybody at Starbucks around the world is gonna see Alicia Teas,” he declared in a since-deleted video. Currently, it’s unclear where the Alicia Teas brand will be sold when they arrive.

Additionally, Keys stepped into the beauty and skin care realm with her Keys Soulcare line last year, after dealing with wrinkles and fine lines herself. As if music, tea, and beauty weren’t enough, she and Swizz also added “authors” to their resume this June with the release of Giants: Art from the Dean Collection.

The luxe coffee table book, published by Phaidon, showcases the couple’s massive art collection and features an exclusive interview with the dynamic duo by Kimberli Gant of the Brooklyn Museum.

“Our strategy is collecting from the heart,” they shared with Gant. “People call us Black collectors, but we’re art collectors who happen to be Black. We double down on artists of color because our community wasn’t collecting these giants.”

But the 43-year-old mother-of-two has also taken her talents to Broadway with her Hell’s Kitchen musical.

Hell’s Kitchen chronicles the journey of the lead character, Ali, whose rebellious spirit is maintained by her overprotective single mother. The official website describes her as: “lost until she meets her mentor—a neighbor who opens her heart and mind to the power of the piano.”

Speaking of the production, Alicia Keys told VIBE last year: “The characters are definitely inspired by the city, inspired by my experiences of individuals and people. And I think that’s what gives it the richness and the relatability that you experience when you come. To me, that’s why it feels so good, how art does imitate life because you’re able to take the experiences, those fundamentals, those emotions, those connections, those layered, complex behaviors of humanity, and put it all together into these stories that really, really hit you.”
