Unlike most of the celebrities Ye has been lambasting lately, Compton wordsmith The Game is speaking up after the controversial figure attempted to call him out for disloyalty on X/Twitter.
Ye’s original post shared Friday (April 11) found the producer calling out his “Wouldn’t Get Far” collaborator for showing love to Toronto artist Top 5, whom Ye, formerly Kanye West, claims has made threats on his life. “Why Game who I have two Maybachs to is showing love to Top 5 who calls threatening to kill me. Welp. I guess I’m not executive producing that album anymore,” Ye wrote, referencing The Game’s upcoming LP The Documentary 3.
Game, who is currently on tour in Europe celebrating the 20th anniversary of debut album The Documentary, didn’t take kindly to West’s attempt to publicly call him out, lashing out at the Chicago producer in response via Instagram.
“F**k you and yo Maybachs little [ninja emoji],” Game answered, addressing the two cars Ye gave him in February. “I’ll be back in LA in a week, come and get em yo self!!! I ain’t never asked yo weird a** for nothing & when you gave me the cars, I said you ain’t have to & I was good but you insisted.”
He went on, “Then you hit me with the ‘you ain’t never have to worry bout nothing ever in your life, I owe you for being the only solid [ninja emoji] outta everybody.’ Got my number but won’t call like a man & address a situation you asked me to fix. Pu**y. Nobody on earth weirder than these industry [ninja emoji].”
Game added on X/Twitter that Ye wanted him to reach out to Top 5 to settle their issues, and that West changed his number before Game could contact him with the update.
Ye has yet to address The Game’s reply. The California MC is just the latest peer of West’s to be the target of his ire, as Ye has attacked everyone from JAY-Z and Beyoncé to the late Virgil Abloh and Vultures collaborator, Ty Dolla $ign.
