The White Lotus season three closed with tragic deaths and new beginnings, and the ensemble cast responsible for bringing the characters to life were just as entangled with the chaotic series as fans. On Sunday (April 6), the actors leading the acclaimed show gathered at The White Lotus at Four Seasons, Presented by American Express in Westlake Village, Calif., to indulge in the luxury experience one last time. While not in Thailand as the season was set, the resort featured curated dining experiences, wellness treatments, custom cocktails, and immersive photo moments for attendees and maintained a calm atmosphere ahead of the finale.

As the sun set over the Serenity pool, the tranquility shifted to a buzzing excitement as The White Lotus cast and wristband holders made their way to designated screening areas to watch the stories of the anthology series play out. The 90-minute episode featured full circle moments, crucial realizations, emotional heart-to-hearts, and violent deaths that tugged at the heartstrings of talent and fans alike.

Following the episode, cast members Leslie Bibb, Nicholas Duvernay, Jon Gries, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Charlotte Le Bon, Sam Nivola, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong, and Aimee Lou Wood shared that they collectively shed tears as they viewed the closer. Just like the audience, Sunday was the first time they watched the episode in full.

“It was a lot of hope in it,” reflected Wood on the final episode where her character Chelsea meets an untimely end. “There was a lot of softness.”

“I found it incredibly uncynical, especially for The White Lotus. It was very, very, very moving. Obviously, being the one that dies, this whole time I’ve been so sad. ‘Mike kills hope because Chelsea is hope and he kills her,’ bit what I saw just then… there was so much love in it; that’s why it’s so much more painful, because you’re having to hold it all at the same timer. That’s life, isn’t it? Love and pain all the time.”

After the insightful conversation, the actors headed outside for a full moon-themed party fully equipped with multiple Thai-inspired food stations and Ketel One and Tanqueray open bars. Additionally, a DJ set by Jungle, sponsored by Spotify, kept the celebration afloat through the night.

The White Lotus season three is set at an exclusive Thai resort and follows the exploits of various guests and employees over the span of a week. It is created, written, and directed by Mike White.
