In a heartfelt post, Touchline shared that he recently fetched his first-ever plaque—a symbol of how far he’s come as both an artist and a person. “This is such a personal song, and for you guys to stream it to the point of GOLD status is wild to me,” he wrote. “I’ll be throwing a party soon, stay tuned.”

The record, which touches on themes of self-worth and inner strength, has become something of an anthem for many, and Touchline made sure to thank those who helped bring it to life.

He gave a special shoutout to producer Kaizer Beats, noting their shared belief in the song from day one. “I told you it was going to work… thank you for listening and giving me exactly what I needed,” he said, celebrating Kaizer’s first plaque as well.

He also praised Veena, whose vocals added just the right touch of emotion to the track: “You were exactly what we needed, the perfect amount. Your talent deserves this gold and the many others coming your way.”

Behind the scenes, engineer Shakespear_7thwav also received his flowers for fine-tuning the record into perfection. “I’ve always trusted you with my sound, thank you for making me a better artist,” Touchline shared.

Industry peers and key players like Soldistro and Siyametane of the distribution company that released the track were also thanked for their belief and continued support. Notably, this was the first song Touchline released under their banner, and it set the tone for what’s proving to be a fruitful partnership.

But beyond the industry love, the biggest thanks went to the fans—the lifeblood of any artist’s career. “To all the people that streamed this, the ones that sing it word for word at the shows, the ones that have loved me with all my flaws…Ngiyabonga. To the greatest fan base in the world 🥂”
