Tracy Morgan wasted no time getting right back to doing the things he loves. The veteran actor was spotted last night (April 8) sitting courtside at a Madison Square Garden, marking his official return to his designated seat after facing an alarming health scare last month.

On March 18, Morgan was seen vomiting during the game and subsequently being wheeled out by medical staff. The incident quickly went viral, sparking concern amongst his fans, but the Takin’ It Too Far talent updated people that he was experiencing food poisoning.

In a new video captured by Ray Santiago of ESPN, the 56-year-old stand-up comedian’s face was shown on the jumbotron at last night’s Knicks game against the Boston Celtics. As the crowd enthusiastically cheered him on, he mouthed “thank you” and threw in a “let’s go Knicks!” The clip was paired with the caption, “Welcome back @TracyMorgan!”

Swiftly following the original incident, the 30 Rock actor provided an update about his condition. “Thank you for all your concern! I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning,” Morgan revealed on Instagram at the time. “Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!”

He was still in sport mode as the photo showed off his Knicks phone case, and of course, he had to add in a joke about his fandom: “More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs #goknicks.” Check out his post below and his return above.

Morgan has been booking roles and making people laugh since the ’90s, playing memorable characters in How High, The Longest Yard, 30 Rock, and plenty more. Fans can catch him on the big screen once again as he’s currently gearing up for his role as a “disgraced former football player” in a new NBC comedy pilot produced by Tina Fey. Last year, it was announced that Morgan would star in a Paramount+ spinoff of CBS’ The Neighborhood titled Crutch.
