Renowned Nigerian activist and influencer Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has playfully suggested a wife for Israel DMW, a close aide to Nigerian singer Davido.
The recommendation followed Israel DMW’s public declaration of his search for a wife who is very good in cooking.
Seizing the moment, VeryDarkMan made a video call to Israel DMW, hinting at having the perfect candidate in mind.
The call took a humorous turn as VeryDarkMan playfully challenged Israel DMW to guess who he was recommending.
When Isreal struggled to identify the mystery woman, VeryDarkMan finally revealed his choice: Chef Dammy. Chef Dammy gained public attention earlier this year when she attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon, a bid that ultimately fell short.
The recommendation left Israel DMW in fits of laughter, as he exclaimed, “No, DARKMAN, I disagree.”
The revelation comes months after the collapse of his marriage to Sheila Courage, with whom he tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Benin on October 20, 2022.
The union, which made headlines for its grandeur, ended just eight months later. In a recent interview with popular media personality Daddy Freeze, Israel disclosed that Sheila refunded only ₦1,000 of the bride price after the marriage dissolved, despite him spending over ₦2 million on the wedding.
He further insisted that the marriage could only be officially annulled by a Federal High Court and urged his ex-wife to return the bride price in a “proper way.”
